About Us

Missionary Table Talks are one-day seminars for pastors, missionaries, and mission leaders. The goal is to help bridge the chasm of misunderstanding between many pastors and the real-life experience of missionaries. Important subjects that undermine a church’s investment in missions are addressed and discussed in a relaxed, informal, confidential, and non-judgmental setting. There is no cost to attend. Coffee breaks, snacks, and lunch are provided.

Our Facilitators

General Director

Rodney Myers

Rodney and his wife Lynn served the Lord under GFF as church planting missionaries in Tanzania, East Africa for thirteen years.  He and his wife Lynn have been married for twenty two years and have four children.  The Myers have lived the experience of missionary preparation, deputation, and service on the mission field. They are experienced missionaries that have been used by God in spite of many challenges to plant a church in one tribe which, in turn, sent out workers to plant another church cross tribally. Additionally, Rodney invested many years in training nationals in local church leadership.  They are honored to serve the Lord by serving the GFF family where Rodney serves as the General Director.

Director of Missionary Care

Chris Luppino

Chris served the Lord as a pastor for just under 39 years during which he led three missions minded churches and developed a local church based missions ministry called MissAssist.  In March of 2020 he became the Director of Missionary Care for GFF at which time MissAssist began to function under the banner of GFF.  The Luppino’s primary ministry is the development of a department of missionary care under GFF.  Chris has said, “At this time in our lives, when we open our eyes in the morning, our “job” is to care for missionaries.   MissAssist is a ministry of challenging churches and christians regarding the great commission, assisting national church planters and pastors through prayer, counsel, teaching, and training, recruiting missionaries, and encouraging missionaries.  He and his wife Nancy have been married for forty two years, have five children, and nine grandchildren.
